LG Launches Telephoto Camera Module with 4-9x Optical Zoom

BANDAR LAMPUNG, RADARLAMPUNG.CO.ID - LG Innotech recently introduced a camera module that contains a telephoto lens with 4–9x optical zoom capabilities.

LG introduces a telephoto camera module with 4-9x optical zoom capability that does not degrade zoom quality even when used for long-distance zoom.

This telephoto camera module is claimed to be better than the fixed zoom module. This is because such modules can offer a wide range of zoom focal lengths.

Then, to reduce vibrations when using it, LG also provides the camera module with OIS, or optical image stabilization.

This allows the photos to remain sharp and in focus, so that the resulting image is not blurry.

Additionally, LG mentions that the Telephoto camera module will be smaller in size than similar modules, as is commonly used in other brands.

The smaller size is considered to be more profitable for vendors because it can leave more space on the smartphones of its users.

In developing the telephoto camera module, the LG company is also working with Qualcomm.

In the cooperation agreed upon by both parties, this was carried out with the aim of optimizing the optical continuous zoom module software. There are also plans for this product to be combined with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

This optimization by LG and Qualcomm also includes custom optics tuning, autofocus, auto exposure, auto white balance, shading correction, and others. (*)
