Pisang Goreng Has Been Named as the World's Best Fried Dessert

RADARLAMPUNG.CO.ID, BANDAR LAMPUNG –  One of Indonesia's traditional snacks, namely fried bananas, has been named the number 1 dessert in the world.

Fried bananas won first place in the Taste Atlas version of the Best Deep-Fried Dessert in the World.

The first order was secured by fried bananas with the highest score of 4.60.

"Not the healthiest option, but very popular in almost all cuisines and cultures," according to the Instagram account @tasteatlas' post caption.

For those who don't know, Taste Atlas is a taste encyclopedia that often discusses traditional dishes, local ingredients, and authentic restaurants around the world.

Taste Atlas has also created more than 10,000 popular food and beverage catalogs with distinctive tastes and aromas.

Recently, Taste Atlas announced the top 50 best-tasting fried desserts around the world.
