Previously the chairman of the 2022 Unila Chancellor selection committee Prof. Abdurrahman said that the eight candidates for chancellor would present their vision and mission in front of 47 members of the senate.

"Tomorrow, Thursday December 22th 2022, we will listen to their vision and mission seriously and closed to the public," said Prof. Abdurrahman, Wednesday, December 21th 2022.

Prof. Abdurrahman said, after the presentation of the vision and mission and work program, the University of Lampung Senate would immediately determine three potential candidates to become chancellor candidates.

"Then we select three people out of eight (candidates for chancellor). From there, we will get candidates for chancellor," he said.

In the process, the candidate for chancellor will be selected based on the voting system or voting from members of the Lampung University senate.

"The system is for these eight elections. So they vote. But later when three have been elected, the system is attempted by deliberation for consensus," he said.

Prof. further Abdurrahman revealed, of the 47 members of the Senate, most of them were new people from each faculty.

The results of the vote count for the first round of the Lampung University election

1. Suharso got 21 votes.

2. Prof. Asep Sukohar got 10 votes.

3. Lusmelia got 7 votes.

4.Dr. Nairobi got 6 votes.
