The community is busy looking for information about what is meant by the Marburg virus after the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenkes RI) again appealed to be aware of the spread of the virus.

The biggest outbreak of the spread of the Marburg virus occurred in the Congo around 1998–2000.

In those years, the outbreak in Congo reached 154 cases.

Then, from 2004 to 2005, there were reports of 252 cases related to this Marburg virus in Angola.

Furthermore, in 2023, the transmission of the Marburg virus will be reported again. To date, there have been 29 cases, including deaths, in Equatorial Guinea.

As well as recording as many as eight cases with five deaths in Tanzania.

People infected with this virus will usually experience a high fever accompanied by headaches and muscle aches.
